Previous Work

My earlier work investigates the constant metamorphosis of my familiar urban environment as evidenced through its residential architecture. This photo-based work is fragmentary rather than documentary, as a personalized view of the city emerges.

My interest in urban deterioration and renewal eventually extended to the remnants of election campaigns that leave neighbourhoods temporarily littered with candidate posters. Here I sought to directly impact my surroundings by photographing defaced posters and reinserting these images back into their environment outside the timeframe of the election campaign.
